This is a weekly column written for those who want to live the most thrilling and productive life possible. With that being said, you might tend to believe that a person must achieve a high level of personal enlightenment to live such a life.   That may be true but sometimes simply knowing a few little tricks about why things work out the way they do, can greatly improve the quality of your life because with that knowledge, you will be able to avoid repeating your mistakes of the past. Sometimes finding success in life can boil down to knowing a few simple tricks.

All of us have three types of energy at our disposal. We have psychical energy, mental energy and spiritual energy. Those people who are really good at getting things done have figured out how to combine all three energies so that they work together in synergy because that will help anyone greatly in accomplishing what they set out to do.

So, whenever you set out to do something important, you must clear your mind, body and spirit of all other matters. You must allow your three energies to come together and that is when they become much greater than the sum of their individual parts.

Here is an example of what I’m talking about; go to a cabinet door, a door to another room, a closet door or a garage door at your home that most times is a little hard to open. Or, if the door to your microwave or some other appliance has that problem, it will work just as well to prove my point. If that door, needs a little extra pull to open because it sticks then it is perfect for this demonstration. Then, go get a cup of coffee, juice or water and make sure the cup is full to the top. Hold the cup in one hand while you use your other hand to open the door. As you pull harder on the door, that you’re trying to open, be careful that you don’t spill any of the liquid in the cup that you’re holding.

You will discover that the door is normally hard to open, is now harder than usual, because you are using some of your personal energy to hold a cup full of liquid while you’re trying to make sure that you don’t spill any of the liquid. Because you are dividing up your personal energy, trying to do two different things at the same time, that is why the door is so hard to open.

In most cases two hands are always better than one. So, now you know, whenever you have something that requires a good bit of physical strength, make sure that you’re not holding anything else in your hands, unless it is a tool that you need to do the job.

When we diffuse our personal energy we become weaker. This rule applies whether you are doing something physical or mental. The trick to getting difficult tasks done and done right is to focus all your energy on the job before you. This may sound simple enough but so many people never figure this out.

The next time you see a person who is having a problem opening a door or getting some machine to work properly, take a close look and if they’re holding something in one hand, that is often the reason why they’re having such a problem.

I believe there are most likely hundreds of little tricks that the truly wise among us have discovered over the centuries. Wouldn’t it be wonderful it there was one great mind that we could all tap into which contained all this wisdom in one place?  I believe there is a flow of wisdom, a flow of great ideas that starts in Heaven and is sent in our direction, to us in the physical world. This flow never stops but we must be truly connected to our spirituality in order for great inspiration and great ideas to come to us. Having a really big ego is not good because it will block great ideas from every reaching you. We all need a little bit of ego in order to have the confidence to hang in there when the going gets rough but too much ego is not good. It diffuses your energy.

The universe exists because it is in perfect balance. Without this perfect balance, all the planets would eventually crash in to each other. So, if you want to live a happy and successful life, you must find your own sense of balance. You must be the master of your personal energy. Never allow anything to diffuse your personal energy for that will weaken you and hold you back from getting to where you need to go in life.

Even when it comes to love making, you should never be holding a drink in your hand or have a cigarette in your mouth while you’re trying to satisfy your partner. It will take away from your ability to achieve your best performance. You don’t want to get a reputation as one who can’t make it happen in the bedroom. If you want your partner to remain loyal to you, you must know how to use all of your three energies in order to satisfy him/her physically, emotionally and spiritually. Have you ever met a couple who seemed to be connected perfectly with each other? Now you know their secret. Now you know how to make that happen.
